Drinks must have a screw on lid. • Acknowledge “front of the bus” courtesy seating for the elderly and people with disabilities. • Limit audio device use to headphones; keep volume at personal level. • Leave pets at home unless designated as a service animal or in a pet carrier. • No loud or disruptive behavior. • No unnecessary conversation with the driver while the bus is moving. • Use designated crosswalks after the bus has pulled away. • Remain seated while the bus is in motion if possible.

More about STAR STAR is a general public curb-to-curb dial-a-ride service that provides transportation within the Sandy city limits. The service area can be extended up to 3miles subject to availability. Anyone can use it within Sandy or to connect with SAM or Mount Hood Express. Reservations can be scheduled up to two weeks in advance. Reservations must be made by 5:00 pm the evening before the needed service. Customers certified as ADA eligible are guaranteed a trip if booked by 5:00PM the day prior for all hours of SAM service. Appointment times can be negotiated to within an hour of requested time. Reasonable accommodations available.
