Perhaps you wonder how we greet the children in Spanish? Every morning as we welcome everyone we say Teacher,:”Buenos días, ¿Cómo estás? Child: “Muy bien ¿y tú? Teacher: Bien, gracias.
The children sit at circle and when we finish our lesson, the teacher says: “Si tu Papa se llama -‐‑-‐‑-‐‑-‐‑ ve a escoger tu trabajo.” “If your father’s name is -‐‑-‐‑-‐‑-‐‑ go choose

work.” The children listen

carefully until they hear a This month we are learning about different helpers in our
community and the jobs they do. We play “guess who?” or “Adivina quien?” The children look at some pictures to get clues then they guess who it is. We have gone outside and looked for these helpers on the street and we have found a few of them.
The jobs we are learning are: Bombero, Abogado, Maestra, Científico, Doctor,

Veterinario, Policía, Bailarín, Músico. We have talked about men and women doing each job.
