Because we receive this federal money, you have the right to request information about the professional qualifications of the classroom staff working with your child. You have the right to request this information for any of your child’s classroom teachers and/or aides. What certification or licensing requirements has the teacher met? Is the teacher teaching under an emergency or other provisional certification? What college degree majors and graduate degrees does the teacher hold? Does your child receive services from an aide or paraprofessional and, if so, what are his or her qualifications?
