oy, juntos, confirmamos que el santo rosario no es una práctica piadosa del pasado, como oración de otros tiempos en los que se podría pensar con nostalgia. En el mundo actual, tan dispersivo, esta oración ayuda a poner a Cristo en el centro, como hacía la Virgen, que meditaba en su corazón todo lo que se decía de su Hijo, y también lo que él hacía y decía. Cuando se reza el rosario, se reviven los momentos importantes y significativos de la historia de la salvación; se recorren las diversas etapas de la misión de Cristo. Con María, el corazón se orienta hacia el misterio de Jesús. Se pone a Cristo en el centro de nuestra vida, de nuestro tiempo, de nuestras ciudades, mediante la contemplación y la meditación de sus santos misterios de gozo, de luz, de dolor y de gloria.
