PDAS Teacher orientation must be provided within the first three weeks of the school year.
∗
Teacher observations shall begin no earlier than three weeks after the PDAS orientation.
∗
The appraisal calendar must be provided to all teachers during the PDAS orientation.
∗
All formal observations shall be scheduled within a reasonable period of time not to exceed one week.
∗
Formal observations shall not be conducted during the first three weeks of instruction and on the last instructional day prior to any official school holiday.
∗
If necessary, second appraisers will be assigned by the campus principal from either one of the Campus’s certified appraisers or from the district‐wide staff of certified appraisers.
