PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER ORDER A PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER ORDER has been issued for the entire Village of Bal Harbour. MiamiDade Water and Sewer Department crews are repairing a water line on 96 Street and Bal Bay Drive. Due to a temporary loss of water service, all water used for drinking or cooking purposes should be boiled until further notice prior to consumption. Water should be brought to a full rolling boil for at least one minute. There is no problem with using the water for bathing and other household needs. The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department will be sampling the water. Once all tests are cleared, the boil water restrictions will be lifted. ORDEN PREVENTIVA de HERVIR AGUA Una ORDEN PREVENTIVA de HERVIR AGUA ha sido emitida para todo el Village de Bal Harbour. Equipos del Departamento de Agua y Alcantarillado de Miami-Dade están reparando una tubería de agua en 96 Street y Bal Bay Drive. Debido a la perdida temporal del servicio de agua, toda agua utilizada para beber o cocinar se debe hervir hasta nuevo aviso antes de su consumo. El agua debe alcanzar el punto de ebullición y mantenerlo por lo menos un minuto. No hay problema con utilizar el agua para bañarse y otras necesidades domésticas. El Departamento de Agua y Alcantarillado de Miami-Dade estará llevando a cabo pruebas del agua. Una vez que todas las pruebas demuestren que no existe peligro, la orden de hervir el agua será abolida.
