Hailing out from Palma, Spain, Model Slaves are singer and bassist Victor Palacios, drummer Pep Lluís Palmer and guitarists Moncho Martín (Niño y Pistola, Son and the Holy Ghosts) and Tolo Fornés. In summer 2015 Model Slaves recorded their double-single The Giants at Hell's Kitchen Studio (Palma de Mallorca, Spain) with producer Tomeu Janer. The Giants is a nightmarish reading of Bradburyesque sci-fi tradition. Released in June 2016, it is already available online on Bandcamp, Spotify and CD Baby. Majorcan collage artist Alexandre Coll is working on Model Slaves’ first video, due November 2016 and featuring the single The Giants. Model Slaves’ first studio EP The Earthlings was also recorded and produced at Hell's Kitchen Studio by Tomeu Janer in October 2014. The Earthlings was released in February 2015 and, according to Tim Forker, from Forkster's Daily Band Review, The Earthlings rings out “robustly shining/glowing vocal alleys” and “gorgeously strumming riff skies” that have “an awesome western giddyup”; and “rhythm outfits” that are “marvelous throughout with that ‘beaming & gleaming’ stomp groove”.
