Our Mission: As disciples of Jesus Christ we are a diverse and hospitable Catholic Community. We pray, serve and spread the Gospel with joy.
INTRODUCTION Everyone at St. Thomas More is called to discipleship and service through Baptism, and we are enriched by the presence of those who are active in our many ministries. As you have much to offer our community of faith, we have much to offer you for your spiritual development, varied interests, or desire to serve or to become more involved in the life of the parish. We invite you to read through this guide and reflect on ways in which you can spend time with God, use your gifts to help build His kingdom, and support our parish community in joyful sacrifice. There are many opportunities to serve our faith and local communities in ways that match your interests, your gifts and talents, and your family schedule. Whether as participant or leader in Liturgy, Community, Evangelization or Service, St. Thomas More provides numerous ways that members of our diverse and hospitable community can pray, serve and spread the Gospel with joy. Because some of our ministries serve minors and vulnerable or disabled adults, a Background Check and Safe Environment Training will be required of those who serve in them. For additional information about the ministries in this guide, please visit the parish website www.stmchapelhill.org/ministries-groups or contact Laura M.
