If you are thinking of volunteering and you have never created a profile, this would be a good time to begin and the first step would be to go to the same web address www.CMGConnect.org. Choose Santa Rosa as your diocese and take the test “Safe Haven”, just follow the steps to complete this 90-minute test. You will also have to be fingerprinted to have a background check. Forms to take to the Del Norte Sheriff’s Office to complete the background check can be acquired at the parish office or you may contact me. There is no charge to the volunteer. Marian Garden News

The Marian Garden is selling religious items. We have a selection of wall crucifixes (10” and 12”), rosaries, and other items. The Marian Garden is focused on quality, value and evangelizing the Catholic faith. All proceeds go to the Marian Garden Committee which is dedicated to the care, promotion and improvements of the Saint Joseph’s Marian Garden, retreats to educate on the Catholic Faith and the rosary outreach program. Traditional Latin Mass is now offered at St. Mary's Church, Arcata. First Sunday of the month: 6:30am. Other Sundays: 1:30pm. All are welcome to attend!
