Dress Code: Our school colors are black, white, navy blue and brown/khaki. When you look at yourself in the mirror in the morning, or look down at your feet, or when your family looks at you – they should only see the following colors on your body: black, white, navy blue and brown/khaki. Grey is not a school color. Nor is a little stripe of red or a swish of purple. All visible clothing (except shoes) needs to be black, white, navy blue and brown/khaki. Here are some key bullet points when it comes to the dress code: ● Navy is navy. It is not royal blue, baby blue, azure blue, sky blue…it is navy. Denim is not navy. ● Denim button down shirts or pants are not in dress code. This includes black denim. Denim jackets are also not dress code.

Collared shirts must be black, white, navy blue and brown/khaki. One solid color. They may have a logo IF it is black, white, navy blue and brown/khaki AND it is the size of a quarter (no bigger). ● Your shirts need to have a collar. Blazers are considered having a collar. ● Sheer (see through) shirts are not considered in dress code. ● Sweaters can be patterned as long as they are only black, white, navy blue and brown/khaki (polka dots, stripes, argyle are ok as long as they are in the above colors….no other colors). ● All visible clothing (socks, undershirts, scarves, headbands…all accessories not including jewelry) need to be in black, white, navy blue and brown/khaki. ● Skirts/shorts need to be two inches above the knee (the width of a metrocard). **The Admin Team and Dean will be doing dress code sweeps and keeping track of violations. At 3 violations, parents will be notified to attend a meeting. ●

**Students completely out of uniform will spend the day in an alternative learning setting. Parents must either pick the student up at the end of the day or come in with the student the next day. Students consistently out of uniform risk further disciplinary action.
