EURORDIS Photo Contest 2014 Procedures This year, 3 prizes of the same value will be awarded to 3 different winners.   

Public Vote: Awarded to the photo that receives the most votes. This is your chance to raise awareness for rare diseases by asking your friends to share your photo and vote for it Expert's Choice: Selected by professional fashion photographer Rick Guidotti. Rick’s motto: celebrating the richness and beauty of human diversity. EURORDIS Favourite: Chosen by the EURORDIS Staff.

Step 1: Contest accepts submissions from 17 September 2014 14:00 (CET) – 16 December 2014, 12:00 (CET). Upload your photo(s) at http://www.eurordis.org/photo-contest, fill in all the required fields and read the terms & conditions of the contest. 

You can also submit your photo by sending it to [email protected] with the following information: first name of the photographed person, your country, disease represented, name of photographer, title of your photo, year the photo was taken, and any comments.



Your photo will be validated by our moderator before being placed on our Gallery. In the meantime, you can begin sharing your photo with your friends and ask them to vote for it as soon as you have uploaded it via our form. Any votes received before the photo is placed on the gallery will be included in the vote count when the photo is placed on the gallery. You can vote once per Facebook account per day.

Step 2: Deadline for Expert’s Choice and EURORDIS Favourite: 3 December 2014 12:00 (CET) Step 3: Deadline for Public Votes: 17 December 2014, 12:00 (CET) Step 4: Announcement of Winners: 17 December 2014, 17:00 (CET): All prizes will be awarded once a final decision has been reached. The winners will be notified by the most convenient method available.
