BIENVENIDAS FAMILIAS A NUESTRAS ESCUELAS Le doy una cordial y calurosa bienvenida a usted y estudiante en nombre Distrito Escolar de MarysvilleDepartamento de ELL (ELL = Significa Aprendiz del ldioma Ingles). Nuestro departamento se encarga de ayudar a todos los estudiantes y familias de las 22 escuelas de Marysville que hablan otro idioma que no sea el Ingles. Asi mismo, brindamos servicios e informaci6n de: • Recursos de la comunidad: Segura medico, donaci6n de comida y ropa, clases gratis de Ingles, computaci6n • Recursos en las escuelas: sistema escolar, como revisar las calificaciones, asistencia de sus hijos por media de Internet, y otros recursos de ayuda. Tenemos clases y entrenamiento para padres, noches con actividades en familia (lectura, matematicas, juegos, bocaditos, multiculturales etc). Consejeria para sus hijos en las escuelas, Interpreters para reunioes o conferencias con profesores. • lnterpretes: 1. Para asistencia de inmediato ( conversaciones cortas de 7minutos), solicite a su escuela usar LANGUAGE LINE (Unea de interpretes por telefono GRATIS para familias. 2. Para reuni6nes largas o conferencia con profesores, solicite a su escuela pedir un INTERPRETE con 1-2 semanas de anticipaci6n • Voluntario y/o Lider Natural, Si quiere involucrarse mas con la educaci6n de su hijo(a) contacte al Uder Natural de su escuela o Director(a). Recibira llamadas telef6nicas de su propia escuela (Scho o l messenger) y algunas veces del Distrito para invitarlos a reuniones con temas importantes de sus escuelas. Asegurese que la escuela tenga sus numeros telef6nicos actualizados, y ACTIVE su contestador automatico, (casa y celular), para poder dejar mensajes, de lo contrario la informaci6n no sera entregada. Avise a la escuela si quiere recibir mensajes por correo electr6nico, llamada telef6nica y/o por texto, asi lo agregan en el sistema y le envien la informaci6n por este media. Si hubiera cambiado de telefono recientemente o de direcci6n, por favor, enviar los datos corregidos a su escuela. Agregue numeros de familiares o amigos vecinos, en caso de emergencia. ELL "Departamento de Aprendiz del ldioma Ingles" (English Language Learner Department) provee ayuda a todos los estudiantes ELL a alcanzar el nivel de Inglés según los niveles del estado, y provee servicios a las familias que no hablan Inglés y multiculturales, brindando recursos disponibles en escuelas y comunidad. Tenemos cerca a 1100 estudiantes y sus families en nuestro departamento, Aproximadamente 600 familias hablan Español, 80 Ruso, y hay más de 35 otros idiomas. Nuestros Enlaces de Padres para grados K-12, Wendy Svetlana ayudan a los padres a conectarse más e involucrarse con la educación de sus hijos. Son las únicas enlaces para 22 escuelas. Our ELL department assist ELL students to become proficient in English and to meet state learning standards, provides services for non English speaking parents (Interpreters, Information of resources in school and Community) Our Parent Liaisons Wendy Messarina Volosin (Spanish) and Svetlana Pasonok (Russian) connect on a daily basis with their multicultural, bilingual and non English speaking families. They are the only ones in our district, and they support all 22 schools grades K-12. They help parents be involved in their children's education, help schools organize events for their families at schools, and held parent meetings/orientations in the district office: Strawberry and Board room. There are close to 1100 students approximately in our ELL department: 600 families are Spanish Speaking, 80 are Russian . We have 35 more languages approximately such us: Arabic, Cambodian, Chinese, Cebuano, Creole, Chuukese, Czech, Egyptian, French, German, Hindi, Hmong, Indonesian, llokano , Japanese, Korean, Kurdish, Laotian, Latvian, Marshallese, Nuer, Nepal, Punjabi, Polish, Portuguese, Pidgin, Philippine, Rumanian,Swahili , Thai, Turkese, Tagalog, Thailand, Tongan, Urdu, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Yapese. Linea para reportar faltas de su hijo a la escuela Si su hijo no asiste a la escuela por enfermedad o emergencia familiar, debe llamar a la escuela a reportar la falta (Diga el nombre de su estudiante, dfa, motivo de la falta y nombre del padre o apoderado). Si no puede llamar, debe enviar una NOTA con todos estos datos, y entregarlo a la secretaria de la escuela. IMPORTANTE: Si no reporta las faltas, su hijo acumulara inasistencias injustificadas y sera enviado a Corte Juvenil. Luego de hablar con un Juez, si las faltas continuan, su hijo realizara servicio comunitario, debera pagar una multa y otras severas medidas seran aplicadas segun sea el caso. Accesso a la Familia - Family Access (Vea el progreso escolar de su estudiante a diario por internet)
Este un programa que le permite seguir el progreso de su hijo y estar conectado a la escuela. Solo necesita tener internet. Puede bajar el App Skyward en su celular o usar la computadora en casa, oficina o biblioteca de la escuela o publica. Aqui podra ver: Las calificaciones de su hijo Disciplina o comportamiento Asistencia {Faltas o tardanzas) Asignaciones y tareas pendientes y realizadas Enviar o recibir Mensajes de los profesores diariamente No necesita esperar hasta las Conferencias Padre-profesor, puesto que ahora con ACCESO DE LA FAMILIA, puedes ser un miembro activo en la educaci6n de tu hijo. Family Access -SKYWARD Family Access {Skyward) We're dedicating this site to all parents and guardians who want to be more involved with their child's education. With the Family Access web portal, you can review your child's progress with just a "point and click" from your home or office. Parents and guardians now have access to a variety of student information, such as attendance, discipline, health & vaccination information, and student & family demographics. Those with students in secondary schools will also be able to view schedules, assignments and grades. There is no need to wait until parent-teacher conferences; with this up-to-the-minute information you can be a more proactive member your child's educational team. Staff email addresses are provided through Family Access for your convenience should you have a question or need an answer prior to parent-teacher conferences. Your Family Access password and user name will work for all children for whom you are listed as a guardian, regardless of grade level or school of attendance. If after logging into Family Access you do not see every child in your family please contact that child's school and corrections will be made.
