From Mount Hor the Israelites set out by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; but the people became impatient on the way. The people spoke against God and against Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we detest this miserable food.” Then the Lord sent poisonous serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many Israelites died. The people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord to take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a poisonous serpent, and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten shall look at it and live.” So Moses made a serpent of bronze, and put it upon a pole; and whenever a serpent bit someone, that person would look at the serpent of bronze and live.

You were dead through the trespasses and sins in which you once lived, following the course of this world, following the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work among those who are disobedient. All of us once lived among them in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of flesh and senses, and we were by nature children of wrath, like everyone else. But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ- by grace you have been saved-and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God-not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.

Announcements The Ronald Stalford Memorial Organ Recital Featuring Mark Dwyer – Today at 4pm, we are delighted to welcome Mark Dwyer as this year's recitalist. A native of Worcester, Mark has served as Music Director at the Cathedral of All Saints in Albany, NY, as well as St Paul's Parish, K Street, in Washington, DC. He is currently Organist and Choirmaster at the Church of the Advent in Boston. A reception will be held after the concert in the Guild Room. Lenten Choral Evensong, Sunday March 18 at 4:00pm - The season of reflection continues with thoughtful music appropriate to the season, using music to reflect on the journey from the cradle to the empty tomb. Easter Flower Memorial Cards are now available at the table in the back of the church. You can place them in the offering plate on Sundays or drop them off at the parish office. Last day to submit memorial cards is Sunday, March 25. If you have any questions or concerns please call Ani Reyes at the parish office. Come Watch With Me…Maundy Thursday, March 29th – Good Friday, March 30th Following the Maundy Thursday evening Eucharist, until 9 a.m. on Good Friday, we will hold a prayer watch in the Chapel. Those who wish to keep watch with Jesus during the dark hours of Gethsemane, his arrest, trial and crucifixion may come to pray and meditate for a portion of this period. To assure that there be persons present throughout the entire period there is a sign-up schedule in Huntington Hall or e-mail [email protected] or call Ani in the parish office. We ask those participating to arrive on the hour and come to the parking lot entrance. March for Our Lives - The "March for Our Lives" on Saturday, March 24, will take place in many venues. Washington, Boston, Springfield, around the country, and here in Worcester starting at 12:00 at institute park, people will unite for a common cause. Whatever your stance on guns is, please consider marching on this day. This march isn’t about gun control - it’s an issue about public health - about saving lives. Our Bishop will march - bishops and priests around the country will march - and your deacon brothers and sisters will march. It will be wonderful to show kids that we stand with them - that we’re proud they’re stepping up for their own future.

All Saints Magazine - “The All Saints Magazine has an opportunity for you! Due to necessary budget cuts for 2018, this year the funding for this wonderful parish resource will come from those of us who choose to be sponsors! Sponsorship cards with various options for giving are available on the table outside Huntington Hall and may be given with your donations to Ned Prevost, Bev Prevost, or Donna Crocker; mailed back to the Church with your check; or turned in to the church office, with checks made out to All Saints and with Magazine on the memo line. The Magazine has been such an effective way to spread the good news of All Saints’ programs and worship and fellowship, and this support will help toward restoration in the budget next year.” Thank You - I would like to say thank you for everyone's contributions for the house at 91 June Street. We brought them 2 bags of paper goods and $125 in food cards from Big Y from the donations to the Rainy Day Jar. I also want to thank the youth group and their contribution, they bought a $25 dollar gift card with more towards a second one. Great job to them for their ministry and making a difference in the lives of others. Ongoing Recycling Project Please bring recyclables cans and bottles and place them in the box in Huntington Hall. Youth will collect and recycle them and all proceeds will go to both the rainy jar fund for Hope for Housing and Thursday Café.

Sunday, March 18 – Youth Group hosts Coffee Hour Saturday, March 24 from 9:00 – 12:00 – Palm Saturday Event All children are invited to come and experience the journey of Jesus last week on earth.

Saturday, April 21 from 9:00 -12:00 – Community Clean Up All are welcomed to join the youth group as we make our neighbor a little cleaner and a little brighter.
