A pesar de que nunca tuvo un puesto oficial en el gobierno, Evita actuo´ de facto como Ministro de Salud y Trabajo, recompensando generosa´ del aumento de mente a los trabajadores a traves sus salarios, quienes respondieron con el apoyo ´ pol´ıtico a Peron. In spite of the fact that she never had an official government post, Evita acted as the de facto Minister of Health and Labor, generously raising the salaries of workers, who responded with their political support for Per´on.

Evita, como hab´ıan comenzado a llamarla las clases populares, se convirtio´ en el rostro hu´ mano del regimen y en el enlace del presidente con las organizaciones obreras. Evita, as the people had come to call her, became the human face of the regime and the president’s liaison with the labor organizations.

During the coup d’´etat of 1955, it was said that the remains of Evita Per´on had been lost; much later it would be known that they had been buried in a town close to Milan under an assumed name.
