This letter accompanies the annual report for the 2015-2016 Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) through June 30, 2016. I continue to be humbled by your generosity and support to our diocesan appeal. This year a record high was set with $5.8 million pledged from more than 22,000 families.
Esta carta acompaña al reporte anual del Llamado Para los Servicios Católicos (CSA por sus siglas en inglés) 2015-2016 que abarca hasta el día 30 de junio de 2016. Continúo sintiéndome humilde ante su generosidad y apoyo hacia nuestro llamado diocesano. Este año se estableció un alto récord de $5.8 millones comprometidos por parte de más de 22,000 familias.
The theme for this year’s appeal, Hands of Mercy, is meant to call us to action as a community of disciples to bring the hope and love of Christ to others. Your gifts to the CSA assist in promoting a culture of life, supporting vocations, and educating our youth. Through these and many other ministries and programs supported by the CSA, we come together as one Body of Christ, exhibiting God’s mercy to all who are in need. Your gift of treasure is a tangible and powerful witness of your love for God.
El tema del llamado de este año Manos de Misericordia, está destinado a ser un llamado a la acción como comunidad de discípulos para llevar la esperanza y el amor de Cristo a otros.
